Touchdown! Australian Idol’s Mark Holden Studies Law

If having a mullet and producing David Hasselhoff’s music were a crime, pop-icon Mark Holden could probably kiss a career in the law goodbye. But as Holden probably now appreciates, both activities are lawful (though a clear affront to public morality) and a career in law apparently beckons. You see, ladies and gentlemen, Mark Holden is studying law.

that put a fire down my wire

As reported several weeks ago:

the carnation lover and talent agent is studying for a law degree …It’s quite a change of pace following the hustle and bustle of the Channel 10 talent competition from which he was dropped in favour of an easier-for-viewers-to-digest three-judge panel. Holden has said he wants to work on the legal side of the music industry.

No doubt Holden considers that because he once stood in judgment of impudent wanna-be popstars, he might one day be apt to sit in judgment of alleged criminals. Would it be appropriate for a judge, in handing down a sentence, to remark ‘that didn’t shizzle my fizzle’?
