Foul-Mouthed South Australian Litigant in Coarse Courtroom Episode

It is great that in the modern justice system people before the court can often jettison the more formal aspects of procedure and just get on with the business if having their problems solved.
However, a touch less formality is one thing, and potty-mouthed courtroom buffoonery is another altogether. South Australian Markham Moore-McQuillan probably falls into this latter category, yesterday having been reported as serving jail time for petulant courtroom behaviour in which he ‘swore and curse at a judge 93 times in 47 minutes’.
Less than a year after his release for this vulgar conduct, Moore-McQuillan found himself back before the court recently, though this time at the Worker’s Compensation Tribunal. His coutroom etiquette apparently hasn’t improved:
“I, Your Honour, am not a f—-ing lying piece of s—t like these other people you’re used to talking to,” he said…You are not interested in the truth, the only truth you’re interested in is what this lying piece of s—t can produce to you…What you’ve actually allowed done is allowed them to use dishonest and illegal methods to produce evidence that you consider honest, and that’s because he’s a filthy f—-ing little a—hole.”
In mid 2008, Moore-McQuillan received a suspended jail sentence for labelling Justice Perry “corrupt” during a hearing, only to breach that suspension one month later by calling another judge “biased” and a lawyer a “f—-wit”.
In a transcript from last weel’s hearing, Moore-McQuillan is reported to utter 93 swear words.
