Terminator 4; Deloitte Fires then Hires ‘New Weapon’ to ‘Wage War’

It has emerged that despite rumours of ‘Deloitte deletes‘ and ‘underhanded sackings‘, Deloitte has found room in its vast offices for new employees. We received the following comments from a Deloitte spy over the weekend:

…it is amazing that there can be all this room [at Deloitte] in Audit for new employees and secondees, but there is no room for any internal staff to fill them by moving laterally, instead of out the door.

These comments reinforce recent public comments made by Deloitte in the BRW (21/05). In an article entitled Revival of the Spirit, it is noted that Deloitte wants to ‘stage a comeback’ in its Audit team and has chosen Californian Cindy Hook as its ‘newest weapon’ to ‘wage war’ on the other 3 major accounting firms. No doubt Cindy has already put her new colleagues off side by asserting:

The firm has a tonne of positive momentum.

Perhaps Hook was too busy listening to the anabolic reveries of the Governator to hear that about Deloitte’s recently announced  pay freeze and the rumours of secret sackings.  Ironically, the secondment of Hook and the Deloitte ‘comeback’ coincides with the cinema-release of Terminator IV.
