aken the unprecedented step today of revealing in a brief media release that up to 100 staff will be sacked as part of a firm-wide employment review in response to the global financial crisis.

Any redundancies announced under the review will build on the numerous sackings already undertaken by the firm, including the laying off of four property lawyers earlier this year.
