Alroe appears to have posted some comments on his Facebook profile page yesterday:
Fornos [sic] police statement claims I had an affair with Rill. Rubbish. I have been divorced for 5 years. The first of many lies to be examined by the judicial microscope.
In an interview earlier this year in relation to his play Dead Cats Dont Bounce, Alroe noted that he likes to get feedback on his screenwriting ideas from his ‘partner Rill’.
If Forno’s allegation is untrue it would amount to a peculiar form of gutter-sniping (a province usually reserved for the Firm Spy, we might add!). Of course, we don’t know the facts. What we do know, however, is that Trent Forno counts Equal Employment Opportunity as an area of his legal expertise. At the very least, he can advise on the ‘extended leave’ of his colleague!
To all our Minter Ellison spies – please send the Firm Spy details on the nature of the fall-out between Alroe and Forno.
