Thanks to the PwC spy who gave us the following audacious assessment of the firm:
I work at PwC in a leadership position … PwC’s Internal I.T. department BS Technology (not to be mistaken for Business Solutions) is for the 3rd time in 3 yrs preparing for another restructure. It seems
the inexperienced leadership team don’t know how to make long standing decisions… After staff commit to unpaid leave, do more with less & [receive] no pay rise this period, a large cloud lies over the fate of 200 odd staff. This is a classic case of taking with both hands and giving by way of a solid round house kick to the arse. The new structure will [probably] spawn a GSS (global software services team). PwC isn’t content providing just professional services but now want to stick their finger in the Finance & CRM software pie. Next they’ll be buying up circuis OZ and be selling tickets through ticket master… To add to the confusion, the CIO of 20 yrs is moving on. Known as the people’s man and “master of all he survey’s”, it sees the closure of a chapter in history where the final piece of the PwC IT group GTS, then BST now AUIT die a hard and painful death.
MUCH more than PwC staff are receiving from the partnership
If true, this insight makes it painfully easy to see why PwC is populated by such anxious staff. Have we yet witnessed a greater corportate misanthropist than PriceWaterhouseCoopers?
