The reality of the GFC has struck Australia, leavimg many jobless and many more concerned for their future
Even the tea-ladies are no longer safe!
But the GFC blues have apparently not hit everyone.
The Freehills partnership is confident about both its future workflows and its ability to retian staff. Managing partner Gavin Bell attested to this by exclaiming that the firm is:
‘in good stead in times like this… We are comfortable about how revenue is going.’
In contrast to the rest of Australia, and the world, Freehills is flying!
‘Even if the economy ticks up thre will be a tail of litigaiton that will come out of the current crisis that will continue for some time. That stands us in good stead in times like this.’
Despite this clear confidence in the future, Bell noted that Freehills is still being cautious:
‘We are taking a prudent approach to management and have deferred some investment proposals and are making sure we manage headcount’.
